Store Manager responsibilities include:
- Ensuring the store consistently achieves and/or exceeds sales goals
- Connecting with our customers to build lasting relationships
- Maintaining our high standards of customer service and visual merchandising
- Motivating and managing sales staff and maintaining a positive, upbeat , team-oriented atmosphere
- Managing operational responsibilities including monitoring inventory, daily/weekly/monthly reporting and paperwork, scheduling, payroll, and cash handling
- Recruiting, hiring, training, and developing sales staff
- Communicating store needs and concerns to Owner (product, service, staffing, etc.)
- Planning and executing in-store events
- Possessing keys to the store and overseeing and executing major store procedures: opening/closing register, opening/closing checklists, bank deposits, filling in, receiving/sending mail and emails, shipping and receiving, and many more
- Assuming signature privileges (for shipments, supply purchases, payroll, etc.)
- Controlling assets through loss prevention
- Maintaining a neat, clean, and orderly store environment
Store Manager should posses the following qualifications:

- Ability to handle cash, provide change, and make deposits without error
Educational Requirements and Preferred Experience:
- Minimum education: High School Diploma
- 2+ years of work experience preferred
- Experience in retail, management, or customer service strongly preferred
- Familiar with Excel, POS systems, and retail reports preferred
- Staff scheduling and payroll tracking and reporting preferred
- Implementing merchandising and event directives preferred
- Employee training preferred
